Every stage, every hidden path, every optimal route through the world of Redo.
Welcome to Ratatan Port - the bustling island that serves as your home base and tutorial area. This is where you first learn the rhythm commands, meet Fortrun, and set out on your adventure. The stages here are intentionally easy, designed to teach you the basics without overwhelming you.
This is basically an extended tutorial. You'll learn the advance command (Pata Pata Pata Pon) and the attack command (Pon Pon Pata Pon). The enemies are weak and forgiving - they barely fight back. Use this stage to practice hitting the beat consistently. Don't rush through it; really lock in the timing.
Introduces the defend command (Chaka Chaka Pata Pon). You'll face enemies that actually attack back, so you need to switch between advance and defend. The key lesson here is reading enemy telegraphs - when they wind up, switch to defend. When they recover, switch to attack.
Your first mini-boss is a pack of unconverted Chorus. They're not individually dangerous, but there are a lot of them. The trick is maintaining your rhythm while they swarm - don't let the chaos throw off your beat. Use area attacks if you picked up any weapon upgrades.
This stage teaches you the Medama system. You'll find Chorus that can be converted into Cobun by granting them a Medama. More Cobun means more power, so always recruit when you can. The stage itself is easy - it's more of a lesson than a challenge.
Your first real boss fight. The Chorus King is a giant Chorus that summons smaller ones as minions. Focus on the adds first with attack commands, then hit the boss during its recovery windows. This is your first chance to use FEVER mode in a boss fight - try to save it for when the boss is alone.
Between stages, prioritize: 1) New weapons (to diversify your Cobun types), 2) Cobun recruits (bigger army = easier time), 3) Melodium upgrades (nice to have but not essential yet). Don't worry about passive items this early.
The Paraddean Sea is where the game really starts. Beautiful mermaids, azure waters, and Captain Barbatoid's Swashbuckling Mantaneers making life miserable for everyone. The stages here introduce water mechanics and ranged enemies.
You arrive on the beaches of the Paraddean Sea. The enemies here are Mantaneer scouts - they're faster than World 1 enemies and use ranged harpoon attacks. The key is closing distance quickly with advance commands, then attacking before they can reposition. Archer Cobun are very useful here since they can hit enemies at range.
This stage features branching paths through coral formations. The left path has more enemies but better rewards. The right path is safer but you'll miss out on weapon upgrades. For your first run, take the left path - the extra combat practice is worth more than the safety.
You can see Barbatoid's ship in the background. The enemies here are tougher Mantaneers with shield-type Cobun of their own. You'll need to use defend commands more frequently since these enemies hit harder. Consider picking up spear-type Cobun - they can attack from behind your shield wall.
A unique stage where you fight on the deck of an enemy ship. The confined space means you can't retreat as far, making defend timing even more critical. The stage boss is a Mantaneer First Mate - a mini-boss that previews Barbatoid's Anchor Swing attack.
See our detailed Boss Guide for the full strategy. Quick summary: watch for telegraphs, alternate attack/defend, save FEVER for Phase 3.
The arid canyons and desert wilderness of Yeehawler Mountain are home to Scorpswoosh Bill and his Stinger Diggers. This world ramps up the difficulty significantly with faster enemies and more complex attack patterns.
The Stinger Diggers are quick and aggressive. Unlike the Mantaneers, they don't telegraph as long before attacking. You need faster reaction times here. If you've been coasting on easy rhythm timing, this world will punish you. Practice your beat precision.
One of the most fun stages in the game. You're riding mine carts through the canyon while fighting enemies that jump on from the sides. The rhythm is faster here to match the cart speed. It's intense but exhilarating - and the music is absolutely incredible.
An abandoned mining town where Wagoon's raiders lurk. This stage has ambush encounters where enemies appear suddenly from buildings. Keep your defend command ready at all times. The reward for clearing this stage is usually excellent - high-tier weapons or rare Cobun types.
The Stinger Diggers' home base. Enemies here have coordinated attacks - they'll try to flank your formation from both sides simultaneously. Position your Ratatan in the center and use area-of-effect skills when surrounded. Shield Cobun are essential for surviving the flanking attacks.
See our detailed Boss Guide for the full strategy. Quick summary: fast reactions, defend during burrow, burn in Phase 3.
The jungles are where Ratatan's roguelike elements really shine. The stages are longer, the enemies are more varied, and the rewards are better. This world also introduces environmental hazards like poison plants and swinging vines that can knock your Cobun off beat.
The jungle's edge introduces plant-type enemies that can poison your Cobun. Poisoned Cobun take damage over time, which can quickly deplete your army if not managed. Pick up healing items between stages if available.
Hidden within the jungle are ruins from an ancient civilization. These stages have puzzle elements - you need to hit specific rhythm sequences to open doors and reveal secret paths. The secrets here contain some of the best items in the game, so it's worth exploring thoroughly.
Fighting in the treetops adds a vertical element. Enemies attack from above and below, making positioning more complex. Archer Cobun excel here since they can hit enemies at different elevations.
The deepest part of the jungle holds a temple dedicated to the goddess who created Redo. The enemies here are the strongest non-boss foes in the game. Bring your A-game and a fully upgraded army.
The jungle boss guards the path to The Everafter. It's a multi-phase fight that tests everything you've learned so far. Refer to our boss guide for detailed strategies.
The Everafter is the goddess's domain - the paradise that the Ratatan have been singing about since the beginning. But reaching it doesn't mean the adventure is over. This final world is the ultimate test of your rhythm skills and strategic thinking.
The stages here combine elements from all previous worlds - pirate enemies, desert ambushes, jungle hazards - everything thrown at you at once. The music is a remix of all world themes, and it's absolutely incredible. This is where the game peaks, both in difficulty and in soundtrack quality.
We're keeping this section spoiler-free since The Everafter contains major story reveals. For detailed stage guides, check back after the full release on July 16, 2026!
